One of the first active members and first president of the P&V Foundation, Mark Elchardus has led our many projects for almost twenty years with regularity and unfailing loyalty. It's from the heart that we would like to express our gratitude for this long road. If he remains today a member of the Advisory Board and of the Board of Directors, it is now Olivier Servais who has been welcomed as our president. Anthropologist and historian, he is a professor at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve ( UCL), where he teaches the anthropology of religions, environmental and symbolic systems. He is also president of the Political and Social Sciences School. Concerning his research, he developed an interest in virtual worlds. His ethnographic approach is imbued with a reflection on the sensitivities and identities mediated by technology. He is part of the Advisory Board of the P&V Foundation since 2009 and joined the Board of Directors in 2012.

We wish him a warm welcome!
