The P&V Group Academy receives award for societal engagement

At the annual Decavi Life Insurance Awards ceremony on October 23, P&V Group received four prizes: two for innovation, one for prevention, and one for societal commitment.

P&V Group Academy: making the insurance world more accessible

In 2024, P&V Group and the P&V Foundation organized the first edition of the P&V Group Academy. This program targets young people who, for various reasons (interrupted education, lack of opportunities, uncertainty, etc.), face difficulties accessing the job market. For them, the P&V Group Academy offers a chance to regain self-confidence, discover an unfamiliar sector, and build a sustainable professional future.

The P&V Group Academy is a paid internship within P&V Group. Participants receive a mix of theoretical lessons and soft skills training and are fully immersed in the insurance world. The program was made possible thanks to a large internal group of coaches and trainers, supported by the P&V Foundation and a network of social organizations committed to inclusion. The results speak for themselves: five out of seven participants were offered a job within P&V Group at the end of the first edition.

Second cohort of the P&V Group Academy

In 2025, a second wave was launched, including an information session and a three-day bootcamp before summer. Through partner organizations such as Capital, Déclic, Duo for a Job, Backstage Network, Cité des Métiers, and YouthStart, more than 60 young people attended the information session, of whom 20 were selected for the bootcamp.

Seven young people were ultimately chosen for the second cohort: they began their paid internship in September 2025! Those who were not selected or not interested in an internship were given the opportunity to participate in workshops and receive guidance through StartPeople, one of the largest players in the Belgian temporary employment market. This way, everyone emerges stronger from the experience!
