Feeling You(th): the final stretch towards our Mental Health Festival

After three years of research, exchanges and collective commitment, the Feeling You(th) project is entering its final phase. To mark this milestone, the P&V Foundation is pleased to announce the organisation of the Mental Health Festival, which will take place on 13 October 2026 at Beursschouwburg in Brussels.

Registrations will open soon, stay tuned!

Back on the ground

On May 9 and 10, the Agents of Change gathered for their second weekend meeting. During this meaningful moment, the young participants shared insights gained from visits to organisations supported by the P&V Foundation.

The Foundation supports sixteen organisations working daily to improve young people’s mental health, focusing on four key areas:

  • physical activities, coaching and personal development
  • listening and support within and around the school environment
  • co-creation through art, expression and experimentation
  • awareness-raising and mobilisation through media, especially social media

Concrete recommendations

Between April and early May 2026, the Agents of Change were divided into groups to meet each organisation, either in person or remotely. Using a questionnaire they designed themselves, they engaged with field actors, discovered working methods and analysed challenges.
During the second weekend at Growfunding, they presented their findings, shared experiences and compared perspectives. This led to common insights and concrete recommendations to strengthen youth mental well-being.

Imagining the Festival

The weekend was also forward-looking. The Agents of Change began designing the Youth for Mental Health Festival to conclude the project. In working groups, they developed creative concepts, participatory activities and innovative ways to raise awareness.

A moment to breathe

As mental health requires self-care, the weekend also gave significant attention to the well-being of the participants. An origami activity led by Nasser, one of the Agents of Change, as well as mandala workshops, provided moments of calm and creativity. Saturday concluded in a warm atmosphere with a shared dinner, allowing everyone to strengthen the connections built throughout the project.

Save the date: 13 October

The Youth for Mental Health Festival will take place on 13 October 2026 at Beursschouwburg, bringing together awareness, connection and action, and showcasing inspiring initiatives from the project.

Valuable support

This year, the P&V Foundation benefits from support from the National Lottery. We warmly thank them and all players whose participation helps fund youth wellbeing initiatives.

We look forward to celebrating this final step together and continuing to make mental health a priority for all!
